Micro Brushless Gear Motors Outline Drawing
Motor Outline
The outline drawing shows the motor body, gearbox, and output shaft shape. Therefore, users can check the size before product design.
In addition, the compact body helps save space in small machines. As a result, this motor can fit tight drive layouts.
Micro Brushless Planetary Gearmotors Wiring Methods
Basic Wiring Method
The wiring image below shows the main wire layout. Therefore, users should check the wire color before power-on.
Connect the red positive wire to the positive output of the power converter. In addition, connect the black negative wire and blue VSP wire to the negative output of the power converter.
However, do not connect only the black negative wire to the negative terminal. Otherwise, the motor may not start.
Wire Function Guide
- Red wire: Connect to the positive pole of the motor power supply. Therefore, do not connect it wrongly.
- Black wire: Connect to the negative pole of the motor power supply. In addition, keep it on the correct terminal.
- Yellow wire: Use it as the FG speed signal output. As a result, external equipment can detect motor speed.
- White wire: Use it for forward and reverse control. Moreover, the motor runs CCW when this port is not connected.
- Blue wire: Use it for PWM speed control. Therefore, connect it to the negative pole for full speed.
FG Signal Note
The yellow FG wire outputs speed signal pulses. For example, a three-pair pole magnetic ring motor outputs nine square wave pulses per rotation.
In addition, users can use this signal to check motor speed. Therefore, it is useful for speed feedback systems.
Important Wiring Warning
The white, blue, and yellow wires can connect to a 3.3V-5V power supply. However, do not connect them to a 12V-24V power supply.
Otherwise, the motor may burn out. Therefore, please check the wire order and voltage before testing.

Had trouble finding a motor that could handle continuous load without overheating, but this one holds up great.😇😇
Susan Robinson –
I followed the wiring instructions and had it up and running without a problem. I’m using the motor in a home automation project and it handles the load perfectly. the motor is great – lots of torque and great efficiency .
Sylvester Jones –
Looks and feels like quality. Runs very quietly and is powerful. Has a good weight and is easy to process. It doesn’t get very warm, so it can be easily housed in the 3D printing. Of course, this type brushless motor could be not cheaper, for now I’m convinced.
