Type-1 Wiring Method
For Type-1 wiring, please connect the wires correctly before power-on. Therefore, the motor can run in the correct state.
- Red wire: Connect to the positive terminal.
- Black wire: Connect to the negative terminal.
- Blue wire: Connect to the negative terminal.
Type-2 Wiring Method
For Type-2 wiring, please connect the red wire to the positive terminal. In addition, connect the black, blue, and yellow wires to the negative terminal in parallel if you need to change the original direction.
- Red wire: Connect to the positive terminal of the power supply.
- Black wire + Blue wire + Yellow wire: Connect in parallel to the negative terminal.
- Blue wire: PWM speed control line. Therefore, it connects to a 0-5V PWM controller.
- Green wire: FG signal line. As a result, it provides a basic pulse count of 3 signals.
Important Wiring Note
For brushless gear motors, please do not reverse the positive and negative terminals. Otherwise, wrong polarity may burn out the motor.
Therefore, please confirm the wire order, rated voltage, and power supply polarity before testing.
Testing Notes
First, test the motor without load. Next, add the real load step by step. Finally, stop the test if the current or temperature becomes too high.
- Check the rated voltage before power-on.
- Keep the motor away from long stall conditions.
- Use the correct PWM signal for speed control.
- Confirm the wire order before each test.
